lyrics
I see,
I can feel it comes
So bright yet so empty
I’m just a little bit curious
Why one spark left
I feel it comes…
I feel it comes..
I feel a little bit curious
What may be
What can’t I fight with
What may be
And can’t I be with
I feel a little bit curious
What may be
Push me to the place where
I could feel
One with another
I cannot see
What may be
-----------------------
What surrounds me give me scars
Within blood flow and the vein
Farewell my friend, don’t be scared
I will see you once again.
------------------------
I’m numb
I’m faceless,
I’m scared just like you
Why shouldn’t you?
Why shouldn’t I?
Why-o-why?
Shouldn’t you, shouldn’t I, be just a little bit scared?
….That testifies we are human…
I feel a little bit curious
What may be
What can’t I fight with
What may be
And can’t I be with
I feel a little bit curious
What may be
Push me to the place where
I could feel
One with another
And that brings me joy to see that you… may feel It too..
What surrounds me,
Give me scars,
That soon will widen
Farewell my friend
Why shouldn’t you?
Why shouldn’t me?
never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
So I can't leave a long enough review to say everything I want. But I will say this, I love this EP. It's a great little follow up to times, and has just enough of a dynamic shift in sound to prove that Smoulder isn't a one trick pony with their first album's formula. This one really plays up the 70s prog aspects (DUST and Manilla Road influences definitely shine through even harder here). It's still Smoulder, don't get me wrong. Just a different side in some ways, all of which are good. playfulpooka
